Which breed is the smallest of the mastiffs?

I am getting a dog at the end of the summer, and I know that the general breed is going to be a Mastiff. My family is looking for the smallest type of mastiff. Also, if anyone has ever had a Mastiff, could you please provide me with some insight? Are they good dogs?
