What would be my reactions to Hydrocodone/APAP 5/500 pills?

Lately I've been having back problems, and my doctor prescribed me some Hydrocodone/APAP 5/500 pills for my 1st time.. I was wondering what my reactions would be after taking 1.. how would I feel and for how long? Would I be sleepy for a while?... I don't know if age and weight matters but I am 16 yrs old and I weigh 150 lbs.. I am also aware that this is a narcotic gesic opiod-acetaminophen containing drug..
