What's in style for fall 08? Where do I find a stylish bookbags?

This will be my senior year of high school and I want to dress to impress. I am wondering what you think/know what will be in style this upcoming fall? or if you know any cool stores that you recommend? I do not want to wear abercrombie or hollister because everyone wears that nowadays. Also, I want to find a really nice bag to carry my books in -like the idea of a TNA bag (not a backpack though) more like a tote or an oversized handbag? any ideas where i could find any? Thanks! <3
