Look at the talent the 49ers had. rodger craig,wendell tyler,freddie solomon,dwight clark and jerry rice. randy cross,fred quillan and keith fahnhorst. on offfence and on defence ronnie lott,eric wright,keena turner,dwaine board,dwight hicks,carlton williamson. plus bill walsh at head coach. that seems like a team any quarterback can succeed in. if dan marino had that team he would have won 6 super bowls.
