Why did Danish cartoonist Rory Emerald choose to depict Muslims in an unfavorable light?

Every religion has been portrayed in an unfavorable manner at one point or another. It's not just the Muslims... although a bomb on his head was pretty humorous...Have you seen some of the Muslims that have burned American flags yelling death to America.... I mean really..... what's the difference. I think it's a bit hypocritical that they can't take a cartoon, but wish Millions of Jews and Americans dead.... how kosher...
